CS Simon Peter is a Manager at Adili Corporate Services Kenya. He is a qualified lawyer and Certified Secretary with more than a decade of experience in company secretarial, shares registration, and Corporate Trustee Services to both public and private entities in Kenya. He previously worked in the company secretarial division of Livingstone Associates, an associate firm of Deloitte & Touche, and at Azali CPS, where he worked as a Senior Associate.

Simon Peter has a wide range of experience in the management of boards, board committees, and annual general meetings for both listed and non-listed companies. His expertise includes advising boards on corporate governance practices, carrying out board inductions and evaluations, formulating board charters, developing board committees’ terms of reference, and conducting statutory health checks for companies.

Simon Peter is also an Accredited Governance Auditor with experience in Corporate Governance, board and management effectiveness programs, including board inductions, evaluations, and trainings.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi and is a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries Kenya with over seven years of post-qualification experience. In recent years, he has played an active role in the relationship between the ICS and its main Registry, the Business Registration Service, representing members in engaging the Registrar of Companies to streamline processes at BRS that directly impact service delivery.
